I’m M.A. and I write immersive historical fiction and fantasies, always with a healthy dash of spice.

I have a PhD in art history, and in my previous life I published academic articles and edited peer-reviewed journals.

Now, I love infusing my novels and short stories with evocative historical details pulled from my research.

I’m originally from the US, but I now live in the UK with my partner and a collection of struggling houseplants.
